1. TIESK is an intermediary organization implementing the University sponsorship project in Kenya on behalf of TIES Canada.

Sponsoring needy students is important because it provides them with the opportunity to access quality education, which can significantly improve their lives by opening doors to better employment opportunities, breaking the cycle of poverty, and empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities, all while giving them hope for a brighter future; essentially, education sponsorship can be a transformative tool for individuals who might otherwise be unable to attend school due to financial constraints.
